We have beliefs about virtually every aspect of life, from the macroscopic down to the microscopic, and these beliefs shape the way we perceive reality and influence almost every choice we make. Since many of our beliefs are hidden away in our subconscious, we may engage in actions somewhat robotically, as if we are running on autopilot. In a way, beliefs are a double-edged sword: they can help guide us on our life journey, but they also tend to reduce our openness to new information. In this episode, we examine beliefs in detail and dare to ask whether they serve us or disempower us.
